This project is located around the Art Vocational High School and Sırçalı Tomb in Kayseri. The aim of the project is to integrate the project area with the Aircraft Factory, which was built during the industrialization process, by taking advantage of the craft history, handicrafts and historical texture of Kayseri’s past such as Ahi Evran Zaviyesi. The industrial designs made within the Technical High School are to revive the industrial heritage with Bauhaus logic and technological developments and to carry the past to the future. An exhibition area consisting of a ramp in a circular form connecting functions such as auditorium, workshop, design areas, common work areas, library, cafe was designed by taking reference from
Sırçalı Tomb and the surroundings regarding the settlement of the land. The circular exhibition structure provides a transition from handicrafts, industrial design workshops reflecting our past to digital art, animation, 3D printer VR areas connecting to the future. The products created as a result of the joint work of the students here with the designers will be advertised with launches throughout the world and Turkey.
