The purpose of design is to emphasize the new creative process that arises from combining the characteristics of different art forms. The design encourages the manifestation of this combination in a specific area as a reflection. Another aim of bringing together various art forms is to create originality.
The planar land form shapes the three-story structure by determining the design axes. In the entrance area, an inward-facing open veranda, which integrates with the garden and increases spatial permeability, is positioned as an intermediate space that welcomes the user. This space, which carries natural light deeply into the interior, strengthens the interior-exterior relationship of the structure. The staircase positioned after the entrance supports the hierarchical organization of the program and provides direction to the social areas, while defining the transition to the more private spaces on the upper levels. The structure produces transparency, spatial continuity and controlled landscape relations by turning the minimal changes in the topography into an advantage.
Concrete, which forms the basis of the load-bearing system of the building, is exhibited as a structural narrative in columns, floors and beams on the upper levels. The industrial texture of the red-toned corten panels and concrete separates the building from the environmental context, while providing a strong integration between architecture and the natural environment thanks to the dialogue it establishes with the landscape.
