During my visit to Mustafapaşa, I was impressed by its natural beauty and natural formations. I believe that the historical buildings and cultural heritage is overshadowed the natural beauty of this area. When I examined the surroundings during my visit and researched about Mustafapaşa I saw that this place has great potential. Unfortunately, I noticed that the tourists who come to visit Mustafapaşa do not spend much time here, and most of them leave without experiencing the nature.
Based on these observations, for my project I determined to work on the Beydere valley, a place close to the center and easy to reach, which I believe is not given enough value in Mustafapaşa. In this area, the river, which is one of the important parts of the valley, is almost drying up. I decided to revive this river in order to attract people’s attention. By filtering the gray water and rainwater I collected through the surrounding residential areas arranged a new source for the river.
