Explanation for Fevzi Çakmak Social Housing Project
DREAM GARDEN
The Fevzi Çakmak Social Housing Project is designed to address urban challenges with a focus on sustainability, community, and green spaces. The building promotes environmental awareness and social interaction through solar panels, a recycling workshop, a public library, and expansive green areas.
The project is designed to ensure that residents connect with nature as they transition from city streets to their homes. The first “V” structure offers a green space, housing a library, recycling workshop, community garden, terraces, and fitness areas. The second “V” structure provides a private backyard for social housing residents.
Housing units are designed in 3+1, 2+1, and 1+1 layouts, tailored for middle-aged groups. Gallery spaces, terraces, and communal areas strengthen community life within the building. This project blends modern urban living with nature and sustainability.
