MUZEON+ / Furkan Yazıcı
MuzeOn+ is an ambitious architectural project located in the Ungut Neighborhood of Kahramanmaras, envisioned as a future central point of the city. The design transforms the neighborhood into a living landscape through an arboretum that reflects the rich plant diversity of the region. This green space is not only ecologically valuable but also socially inclusive, with a primary circulation path that makes movement easier across the naturally sloped terrain and invites visitors to explore.
At the core of this design stands the MuzeOn+ building, positioned at the most prominent point of the site. Rather than functioning solely as a museum, it acts as a dynamic center for education, local production, and cultural interaction. The building hosts permaculture and gardening programs that empower residents to learn, produce, and contribute directly to the local economy.
The architectural form follows a radial system, with spaces expanding outward from a central circulation core. This structure connects modular units that include exhibition halls, classrooms, and workshop areas, along with shared community zones that support interaction and collective learning. This flexible and layered program allows the space to adapt to changing needs over time.
MuzeOn+ aims to be more than a structure. It serves as a model for sustainable and community-driven urban development. By combining nature, education, and production, the project offers a new way of living that is rooted in local identity, ecological awareness, and economic resilience.
