TERMOVORTEX
In the invisible city of Baucis, life is high above the ground. The city is built on thin concrete columns and platforms. These concrete structures keep the city in the air and leave the land below almost empty. People walk carefully on narrow concrete bridges and stairs. They choose to stay far from the ground to protect nature. Living between the sky and the earth needs balance and a special energy source. This energy comes from the Termovortex, the silent guardian of the city. The Termovortex is not a machine. It is a living creature. Its body is deep black, and its arms and long tail are bright red. When the city starts to lose energy, the Termovortex wakes up. Slowly, it turns on the air system inside the concrete buildings. Wind moves through the hollow concrete columns and tunnels. The Termovortex uses its tail to collect energy from the air and keeps it inside its body. When it has enough energy, the Termovortex rises into the air. It moves to the fire room in the center of the city. There, it changes the energy into warm glowing balls. These heat balls float gently through the concrete city. They give light and warmth to people, homes, and walkways. The heat is soft and safe, not dangerous. The heat balls also move down to the land below the city. They warm the soil and help plants and small animals survive in cold weather. In this way, the Termovortex helps both the city and nature. The city does not touch the ground, but it still cares for it.After giving its energy, the Termovortex turns off the air system and rests. It never goes down to the earth and never leaves Baucis. Its life is connected to the concrete city. Thanks to the Termovortex, Baucis stays warm, balanced, and alive between the sky and nature.
