This project redefines housing not only as a place to live, but as a shared and experiential way of living. The three-storey building brings together residential units designed for different user profiles with a Plus Function located on the upper level, creating a social and interactive living environment. The aim is to move beyond an introverted housing model and establish a system that connects residents with visitors through shared experiences.
The Plus Function is designed as a continuous process that combines a restaurant and workshop program. When users arrive, they first encounter a transparent glass space where they can observe the daily menu and the food production process. This initial moment allows users to understand what is being prepared and creates curiosity and engagement. Adjacent to this space, a display and sales area presents the dishes served in the restaurant, tableware, kitchen tools, and small culinary products, encouraging further interaction with the process.
From here, users move through the terrace, where they can see people dining and observe ongoing workshops. This transition space visually connects production, participation, and consumption. Inside the restaurant, users are able to eat while simultaneously watching the workshop activities, making the relationship between making and consuming food clearly visible. The experience is completed at the payment area before exiting the space.
The residential units are designed in four different typologies for students, young couples, families, and home-office workers. Through this combination, the project offers a housing model that balances private living with shared social experiences, creating an active and inclusive community.
