ECO-ART ENTREPRENEURSHIP HUB / Sümeyye Akkamış
This project aims to create an economic, social and spiritual healing space for Women, Youth and Post-Disaster Communities by bringing together art, agriculture, nature, therapeutic approaches and entrepreneurship in one center. Basic Components 1. Art and Production Workshops Paint production from plant waste Creation of works of art with organic and natural materials Recycling-based sculpture, ceramics and handicraft production 2. Agriculture and Garden Areas Community Garden Aromatherapy and dye plant cultivation Food safety and urban agriculture education 3. Entrepreneurship and Co-Working Areas Start-up offices Co-production laboratories Digital marketing, sustainable product development and e-commerce support programs 4. erapeutic and Social Areas Art therapy and nature-based therapy areas Women and youth counseling and support centers Open/semi-open event areas (concert, theater, launch) 5. Sustainable Architecture Biophilic design Natural ventilation and light Facade and interiors made of recyclable materials Local and International Impact Local Impact: Encourages women and young people to produce with Kahramanmaraş’s local resources and cultural heritage. International Impact: Can be an example to other cities and countries as a nature-based sustainable design and social innovation model. Location and Physical Areas (Suggestion) Two semi-open community gardens connected to the center are connected from corner to corner to encourage social interaction. Co-working areas and workshops are positioned side by side. There are hybrid areas such as conference, exhibition, launch and café.
