Kahramanmaraş is one of Turkey’s important production centers with its deep-rooted weaving and textile production tradition. Drawing on this strong local infrastructure, the Textile Innovation Hub is designed as a multi-faceted innovation center that combines the region’s textile potential with creative industries, sustainability and technology, without limiting it to production.The center adopts a circular production model that focuses on repurposing waste textile materials. Recycled fabrics, yarns and fibers are revived here in education, production and design processes. In this way, both environmental impact is reduced and sustainable added value is added to the local economy.
The Textile Innovation Hub has a modular structure that brings together different user groups. It includes:Thematic workshops such as Embroidery, Upcycling, Textile Art and Fabric Brick
Production areas open to digital prototyping and 3D production, Technologies,Open foyer, exhibition and event areas, Digital infrastructures that enable hybrid events, Fabric library and material archive, Common offices and socialization areas.
