There are many departments in Kayseri Central Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School where the Art and Craft Center project area is located. It includes metalwork, woodwork, electrical and electronic work, informatics, engine, aircraft, welding and casting workshops. In this institution that provides education to approximately 3000 students, many work safety clothes are used during the day. Work safety equipment used against extremely hot and cold environments, dusty and smoky atmospheres, oily and hot parts encountered in the workshops were inadequate. Smart fabric technology is a technology that combines fabric and informatics. It is used in the development of innovative products in many areas. Smart fabric safety equipment controls the wearer’s instant health status and circulatory system. It adapts to the environment by heating or cooling in different environments. Work safety is ensured with technology that can be controlled from a digital platform. In addition, there will be various laboratories for the development and research of this technology and products can be developed for different areas. On the other hand, studies will be carried out with the logistics center and different institutions and organizations. Events where fabric and technology are integrated will be held.
