Crafting Future / Ceren Yıldız

Kayseri Central Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, with its historical significance in technical and industrial education since the foundation of the Republic, has been a cornerstone in meeting the region’s demand for qualified professionals. Rooted in this legacy, the planned Art & Craft Hub project “Crafting Future” aims to blend tradition with modernity, advancing the school’s vision of integrating technical education with artistic and cultural values.

This center will serve as a dynamic space where art, craft, and technology converge, fostering creativity and innovation among students and the wider community. By incorporating contemporary technologies and artistic approaches, the hub will offer spaces such as ateliers, exhibition halls, auditorium,  library, and multi-functional areas to support education and community engagement.

Beyond technical knowledge, the hub will nurture students’ creative potential and emphasize the harmony of industry and art. It will also honor the city’s rich cultural heritage, creating an environment that celebrates craftsmanship while addressing modern challenges. This project not only preserves the school’s historical educational mission but also reimagines it for the future, establishing the institution as a leader in creative, cultural, and technical education.
