Discover Science With Your Senses, Rebuild Your Perception!

SSP Hub is an experience-based education center that reconstructs the way human solutions are perceived with architectural space experience, and brings together scientific curiosity with sensory awareness. The center offers a scientific inquiry environment with specially designed architectural volumes for each of the 5 basic senses, and sensory reset corridors connecting these rooms. The architectural design allows only one sense to be activated in each room by isolating visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory and taste-based perception areas. In this way, the user is deprived of his senses and experiences the remaining sense more intensely and consciously. In this center, space works as an active component of education. It transforms the user into a participant who not only observes, but also feels, gets lost and re-perceives.

Daily Life at the SSP Hub – A Student’s Perspective

The day begins not with a bell, but with the silence of the reset corridor. When I step into the Echo Chamber, my ears tune into the resonance of sound; no visual distractions, just the pulse of vibration. In the Texture Dome, my hands become my eyes, following surfaces that speak in curves and grains. Here, I learn to question with my senses, not just my mind. At the SSP Hub, learning is not about memorizing facts; it is about discovering how I connect to the world. Every room is a surprise, every transition a moment of reflection. I leave the building not just with knowledge, but with a redefined understanding of perception and myself.
