Due to its location and mountainous geographical structure, Üngüt has been on migration routes throughout history. Mountains have created natural passages for people.There have been struggles between communities to keep these passages in almost every period of history. In the Üngüt Nomadom Museum project in Kahramanmaraş, the region called Öngüt, which has a similar name to Üngüt in Mongolia, was a source of inspiration. Research has shown that the name Üngüt comes from Öngüt, that is, Öngüt Turks who migrated from Asia. The irregular, uninterrupted and unregulated nature of migrations gave content and form to the museum. Nomadom Museum is a different perspective for Üngüt and all of Kahramanmaraş, which was once on the migration routes.The museum is a time tunnel for visitors in chronological order. In addition to the museum part, it has been specially designed to provide visitors with different experiences. Apart from its function as a museum, it also includes Apart from its function as a museum, it also includes entertaining history workshops for children, a café, a temporary exhibition hall and a conference hall. Neighborhood design is designed by considering the current needs of the neighborhood and geography. The ongoing life, social life and habits here are in harmony with the sloping topography.
