Story of the Rolling-Z

Rolling-Z is a circular city where creatures exist through constant dialogue. In this city, conversations never truly end. Dialogues do not disappear, even though the creatures who carry them are mortal. Over time, creatures die, but dialogue must continue for the city to survive. For this reason, Rolling-Z functions as a continuous cycle. There is a responsible creature whose duty is to collect dialogues from the city. This creature gathers dialogues and stores them in a central dialogue warehouse. When a creature dies, its dialogue and its role are taken from this storage. The responsible creature then carries the dialogue to the Dialogue Transfer Center. At the Dialogue Transfer Center, the main creature of the city, called HSR, waits. The responsible creature delivers the dialogue, and it is transferred to HSR. After this step, HSR and the responsible creature move to the Role Change Center, where the role of the dead creature is also transferred to HSR. With both dialogue and role, HSR no longer exists as itself. It fully replaces the dead creature and continues its position in the city. HSR then goes to the Conversation Point, a space where creatures actively communicate with one another. In this space, dialogue is shared, repeated, and slowly consumed through interaction. When the dialogue is exhausted, HSR does not reach an end. Instead, the process flows forward and the cycle continues within the structure of Rolling-Z. After completing all its duties, HSR returns to its home, not as a conclusion, but as a moment of transition. When HSR leaves its home again, the cycle begins once more. Dialogues are collected, transferred, shared, and consumed repeatedly. There is no final moment in this process—only continuity and repetition. Through this infinite loop, Rolling-Z remains alive. Death does not erase dialogue; it transforms it. In Rolling-Z, dialogue is eternal, while identity is temporary.
