Project Concept and Urban Context The project, located in the Talas district, is designed with a “Housing+” model that prioritizes the family and child-oriented social fabric of the area. Recognizing the proximity to schools, green areas (Millet Bahçesi), and local cafes, the design aims to act as a social bridge between the private residential life and the public urban space.
The “Plus” Area: Family & Child Support Hub The core of the project is the ground-floor “Family & Child Support Hub.” This area is not only for residents but also serves the surrounding community, including teacher households and parents visiting nearby amenities. It features a semi open play area, a short-term supervised child space, and parent child activity zones. By providing a safe environment for children and a social meeting point for parents, the project addresses the practical needs of modern working families and those who work from home.
Architectural Program and Residential Units The residential part of the building consists of three distinct apartment types designed to accommodate various family sizes and needs:
- Type A (105m²): Spacious units for larger families.
- Type B (85m²): Designed for young working families or teacher households.
- Type C (65m²): Compact units for smaller households or individuals working from home.
Design Philosophy and Circulation The architectural language emphasizes transparency on the ground floor to invite the community into the “Plus” areas, while the upper floors maintain privacy through a carefully designed facade and integrated balconies. The circulation is organized to separate the public “Plus Area” entrance from the private resident and parking entrances, ensuring security and ease of flow. The basement floor provides dedicated parking to minimize Street level congestion.
