The Living Archive is a contemporary housing project that focuses on how our everyday lives, our memories, and the places we share all get connected. The project is designed to support everyday activities such as reading, studying, resting, and social interaction in a calm and organized living environment. It combines private homes with shared areas, creating a good balance so that people can have their own spaces but still be part of a community. The library sits in the middle of the project and serves as the primary organizing space. It’s not a standalone feature; it’s in the mix with daily life, getting into people’s routines. Housing units are arranged around this central space, which helps create a clear transition from public and shared areas to more private living spaces. A shared terrace also supports social interaction and provides a space for relaxation The building has four floors, and it’s shaped according to site conditions such as orientation, noise, and the surrounding urban context. This inward-oriented layout creates a quiet and protected atmosphere inside the building. Simple forms, controlled openings, and limited material choices strengthen the clear and residential character of the design. The Living Archive really gives you a flexible living setup, so it can change as your life does. More than just a residential building. The project aims to create a peaceful environment where learning, memory, and everyday life are closely connected through architecture
