The production and design of interior design furniture is the main focus of the center. Offering a learning and application area for students, this center has been implemented as a platform where local and international artists and craftsmen can collaborate, as well as a functional and contemporary public space that encourages creative potential.

The project area is located in the historical context of Kayseri Central Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, and the design process was shaped by considering the physical and social characteristics of the area. Three basic axes were determined in the design: the movement axis starting from the parking lot, the axis that meets the arrival density in the direction of Gültepe, and the main axis directly related to the historical dome in the area. The dome is considered not only as a focal point, but also as a meeting and distribution area for users, and an entrance scenario was designed that will provide a directional effect without obstructing the front facade.

Flexible and multipurpose areas were created by separating the masses on the ground floor, and these areas were associated with open spaces for cafes and workshops. The user experience was enriched by ensuring the contact of the workshops with green areas. On the upper floors, a balance of fullness and emptiness was established by utilizing different heights and transition areas were designed along the Gültepe axis. In the design, an architectural language was developed that reconsidered the existing spatial identity with a modern interpretation, taking as reference the geometric forms and proportions of the school in the project area.

The Art and Craft Center is planned as an area focused on creative production and education, where traditional crafts meet modern art.
