Situated beside the Aghia Poterida waterfall in Sinasos, the project draws inspiration from indigenous groundscrapers, blending traditional building techniques with modern eco-tourism needs. It offers visitors an immersive sensory experience of water, sound, and light, encouraging a deep connection to place.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The terraced layout follows the natural hillside topography and uses locally sourced materials that blend seamlessly with the environment. Each micro-dwelling engages with flowing water through cascading channels, reflective pools, and misting features. Elements such as glass floors, soft lighting, and natural textures enhance the experience, creating spaces of reflection and tranquility.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The waterfall is both a physical and symbolic centerpiece, its continuous flow shaping the architecture’s cascading forms and soundscape. Sustainability is central to the project: rainwater harvesting, greywater recycling, and green roofs reduce environmental impact while supporting local ecosystems.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n A former gathering space is reimagined as a modern cultural plaza and amphitheater, hosting workshops, performances, and community events.
