RUPTURE \/ Hande \u00c7ad\u0131rc\u0131<\/h3>\n

Breaking to Connect
\nThis project began with a simple question that kept echoing in my mind: What happens
\nwhen spaces break apart? Through this idea, I started exploring \u201crupture\u201d not as
\ndestruction, but as a method of generating new spatial relationships \u2014 a kind of
\narchitectural choreography born from separation.
\nThe early stages of the design were filled with instinctive gestures \u2014 sketching
\nfragmented forms, slicing planes, and imagining how people might move through
\nbroken, tilted spaces. I was drawn to the idea of tension: how architectural elements
\ncould lean, pull, or even collide to create meaningful experiences. This led me to
\ndevelop a layout composed of angular, wedge-like volumes that fan out from a central
\naxis, each holding different exhibition themes. Their disjointed alignment creates a
\nsense of disorientation at first, but also invites curiosity and exploration.
\nOne of the most exciting parts of the process was designing the ramps which gives itself
\na circulation \u2014 a light, linear element that floats above the heavy fractured forms
\nbelow. It became not just a circulation path, but a space for reflection, openness, and
\nconnection. This moment of lightness against mass felt like the emotional resolution of
\nthe project.
\nMaterial choices, such as raw concrete and warm interior textures, were carefully
\nselected to strengthen the contrast between rupture and calm. I tried to let the
\nlandscape flow between the buildings, allowing the outside to soften the hardness of
\nthe architecture.
\n\u201cRupture\u201d became, for me, a personal experiment in embracing disconnection \u2014 and
