This design proposes a modular intervention along the southern fa\u00e7ade of <\/span>Kayseri Castle<\/span><\/b>, transforming the historic wall into an active, narrative-driven public space. The project unfolds as a <\/span>timeline journey<\/span><\/b>, guiding visitors through the traditional stages of <\/span>carpet-making<\/span><\/b> and transitioning into a contemporary <\/span>sensory and light museum experience<\/span><\/b>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The sequence begins with the <\/span>Raw Material & Dyeing Unit<\/span><\/b>, where users engage with natural fibers and colors. It flows into the <\/span>Pattern & Motif Interpretation Unit<\/span><\/b>, focusing on cultural symbols and visual language, and then into the <\/span>Weaving Unit<\/span><\/b>, where the act of making becomes physical. From there, a <\/span>sunroom ramp<\/span><\/b> \u2014 filled with colored glass mosaics \u2014 leads to the final destination: a <\/span>Light Museum<\/span><\/b> that transforms traditional carpet motifs into interactive, illuminated installations.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Each unit is designed as a <\/span>plug-in module<\/span><\/b>, respecting the castle\u2019s historic integrity while creating accessible, educational, and immersive spaces. The intervention blends <\/span>craft, architecture, and public memory<\/span><\/b>, offering a bridge between the past and future through both <\/span>material and experiential continuity<\/span><\/b>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
