Be\u015fikta\u015f,\u00a0Istanbul,\u00a0aims\u00a0to\u00a0make\u00a0the\u00a0city\u2019s\u00a0modernization\u00a0process\u00a0visible\u00a0through\u00a0spatial\u00a0and\u00a0conceptual\u00a0interpretations.\u00a0The\u00a0main\u00a0motivation\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0project\u00a0is\u00a0the\u00a0historical\u00a0axis\u00a0extending\u00a0from\u00a0the\u00a0Karak\u00f6y\u2013Kabata\u015f\u00a0Pier\u00a0to\u00a0Dolmabah\u00e7e\u00a0Palace,\u00a0which\u00a0gained\u00a0significance\u00a0with\u00a0the\u00a0Industrial\u00a0Revolution\u00a0and\u00a0played\u00a0a\u00a0key\u00a0role in\u00a0the\u00a0development\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0Be\u015fikta\u015f\u2013Ortak\u00f6y\u00a0area.\u00a0This\u00a0axis\u00a0not\u00a0only\u00a0shaped\u00a0the\u00a0urban\u00a0growth\u00a0of\u00a0Istanbul\u00a0but\u00a0also\u00a0influenced\u00a0the\u00a0emergence\u00a0of modern\u00a0architectural\u00a0production\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0city.\u00a0By\u00a0positioning\u00a0the\u00a0museum\u00a0along\u00a0this\u00a0axis,\u00a0the\u00a0project\u00a0seeks\u00a0to\u00a0reinterpret\u00a0the\u00a0relationship\u00a0between\u00a0modern\u00a0architecture\u00a0and\u00a0its\u00a0urban\u00a0context.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">From\u00a0the\u00a0exterior,\u00a0the\u00a0building\u00a0is\u00a0conceived\u00a0as a\u00a0pure\u00a0and\u00a0neutral\u00a0mass\u00a0that\u00a0recalls\u00a0the\u00a0\u201cwhite\u00a0cube\u201d\u00a0museum\u00a0typology,\u00a0one\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0dominant\u00a0paradigms\u00a0of modern\u00a0exhibition\u00a0design.\u00a0However, in\u00a0the\u00a0interior,\u00a0the\u00a0project\u00a0adopts\u00a0a\u00a0critical\u00a0stance\u00a0toward\u00a0the\u00a0traditional\u00a0white\u00a0cube\u00a0approach\u00a0and\u00a0redefines\u00a0the\u00a0museum\u00a0as a\u00a0space\u00a0to\u00a0be\u00a0experienced\u00a0rather\u00a0than\u00a0merely\u00a0observed.\u00a0Accordingly,\u00a0the\u00a0interior\u00a0spaces\u00a0are\u00a0designed\u00a0to\u00a0encourage\u00a0active\u00a0interaction\u00a0between\u00a0visitors,\u00a0space,\u00a0and\u00a0exhibited\u00a0content.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The\u00a0museum\u00a0incorporates\u00a0tactile\u00a0exhibits, modern\u00a0design\u00a0objects,\u00a0and\u00a0experiential\u00a0architectural\u00a0elements\u00a0that\u00a0allow\u00a0visitors\u00a0to\u00a0engage\u00a0physically\u00a0with\u00a0the\u00a0displays.\u00a0In\u00a0addition, VR\u00a0observation\u00a0rooms\u00a0are\u00a0integrated\u00a0into\u00a0the\u00a0program,\u00a0enabling\u00a0visitors\u00a0to\u00a0experience\u00a0modern\u00a0architectural\u00a0works\u00a0and\u00a0spatial\u00a0narratives\u00a0through\u00a0immersive\u00a0virtual\u00a0environments.\u00a0In\u00a0this\u00a0way,\u00a0the\u00a0museum\u00a0offers\u00a0a\u00a0multi-sensory\u00a0and\u00a0interactive\u00a0learning\u00a0environment\u00a0rather\u00a0than\u00a0a\u00a0purely\u00a0visual\u00a0exhibition.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The\u00a0design\u00a0process\u00a0is\u00a0informed\u00a0by\u00a0Le\u00a0Corbusier\u2019s\u00a0Five\u00a0Points\u00a0of Modern Architecture\u2014pilotis,\u00a0free\u00a0plan,\u00a0free\u00a0fa\u00e7ade,\u00a0roof\u00a0garden,\u00a0and\u00a0ribbon\u00a0windows\u2014which\u00a0guide\u00a0both\u00a0the\u00a0spatial\u00a0organization\u00a0and\u00a0structural\u00a0decisions\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0building.\u00a0These\u00a0principles\u00a0are\u00a0reinterpreted\u00a0through\u00a0a\u00a0contemporary\u00a0architectural\u00a0language.<\/span><span \u00a0 The\u00a0museum\u00a0incorporates\u00a0tactile\u00a0exhibits, modern\u00a0design\u00a0objects,\u00a0and\u00a0experiential\u00a0architectural\u00a0elements\u00a0that\u00a0allow\u00a0visitors\u00a0to\u00a0engage\u00a0physically\u00a0with\u00a0the\u00a0displays.\u00a0In\u00a0addition, VR\u00a0observation\u00a0rooms\u00a0are\u00a0integrated\u00a0into\u00a0the\u00a0program,\u00a0enabling\u00a0visitors\u00a0to\u00a0experience\u00a0modern\u00a0architectural\u00a0works\u00a0and\u00a0spatial\u00a0narratives\u00a0through\u00a0immersive\u00a0virtual\u00a0environments.\u00a0In\u00a0this\u00a0way,\u00a0the\u00a0museum\u00a0offers\u00a0a\u00a0multi-sensory\u00a0and\u00a0interactive\u00a0learning\u00a0environment\u00a0rather\u00a0than\u00a0a\u00a0purely\u00a0visual\u00a0exhibition.\u00a0 \u00a0 The\u00a0design\u00a0process\u00a0is\u00a0informed\u00a0by\u00a0Le\u00a0Corbusier\u2019s\u00a0Five\u00a0Points\u00a0of Modern
