The significant contribution of the course is to equip students with the ability to select and apply appropriate methods and tools for computer-based building performance analysis. The module \u201cExploring BPS\u201d mainly examines existing simulation methods and tools, analyzing their user interfaces, data requirements, limitations, and the results they produce through existing applications. In the \u201cApplying BPS\u201d module, students use selected tools to perform analyses as part of the architectural design process and to evaluate existing buildings. <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In the 2025-2026 Fall semester, the course primarily focused on the \u201cBuilding Energy Performance Simulation (BEPS)\u201d process experiences through studio work. The activities included studying BEPS tools, data gathering, and data input processes using the selected BEPS tools, obtaining relevant results, and discussing those results by interpreting previous design decisions.
