an\u00a0individual\u00a0housing\u00a0project\u00a0with\u00a0the\u00a0theme\u00a0*Housing+*,\u00a0conducted\u00a0within\u00a0the\u00a0ARCH201\u00a0Architectural\u00a0Design\u00a0studio\u00a0during\u00a0the\u00a0Fall 2025\u20132026\u00a0semester.\u00a0The\u00a0project\u00a0aims\u00a0to\u00a0approach\u00a0housing\u00a0not\u00a0only\u00a0as a\u00a0private\u00a0living\u00a0space\u00a0but as a\u00a0multi-layered\u00a0spatial\u00a0structure\u00a0with\u00a0potential\u00a0for\u00a0production,\u00a0interaction,\u00a0and\u00a0sharing.\u00a0In\u00a0this\u00a0regard,\u00a0the\u00a0\u201cplus\u201d\u00a0function\u00a0has\u00a0been\u00a0integrated\u00a0into\u00a0the\u00a0design\u00a0as an integral\u00a0part\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0housing\u00a0program.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The\u00a0project\u00a0site is\u00a0located\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0Ki\u00e7ik\u00f6y\u00a0neighborhood\u00a0of Talas\u00a0district\u00a0in Kayseri.\u00a0Its\u00a0proximity\u00a0to\u00a0Old\u00a0Talas,\u00a0its\u00a0strong\u00a0neighborhood\u00a0culture,\u00a0and\u00a0its\u00a0relationship\u00a0with\u00a0Talas Millet Park\u00a0make\u00a0the\u00a0area\u00a0a\u00a0socially\u00a0active\u00a0and\u00a0vibrant\u00a0context.\u00a0This\u00a0social\u00a0environment\u00a0has\u00a0been\u00a0the\u00a0most\u00a0important\u00a0data\u00a0shaping\u00a0the\u00a0project&#8217;s\u00a0fundamental\u00a0design\u00a0decisions.\u00a0During\u00a0the\u00a0design\u00a0process,\u00a0the\u00a0aim\u00a0was\u00a0to\u00a0develop\u00a0a\u00a0housing\u00a0model\u00a0that\u00a0supports\u00a0socialization\u00a0at\u00a0the\u00a0neighborhood\u00a0scale\u00a0and\u00a0nourishes\u00a0public\u00a0life.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The\u00a0main idea of\u00a0the\u00a0project\u00a0is\u00a0to\u00a0separate\u00a0the\u00a0housing\u00a0units\u00a0from\u00a0the\u00a0art\u00a0workshops\u00a0defined\u00a0as\u00a0the\u00a0\u201cplus\u201d\u00a0function,\u00a0while\u00a0establishing\u00a0a\u00a0public\u00a0connection\u00a0between\u00a0these\u00a0two\u00a0programs.\u00a0This\u00a0connection\u00a0is\u00a0created\u00a0through\u00a0an\u00a0axis\u00a0extending\u00a0between\u00a0the\u00a0two\u00a0blocks,\u00a0which\u00a0users\u00a0can\u00a0experience\u00a0like\u00a0a\u00a0street.\u00a0This\u00a0axis\u00a0is not\u00a0merely\u00a0a\u00a0passageway; it is\u00a0conceived\u00a0as a\u00a0shared\u00a0space\u00a0where\u00a0encounters,\u00a0production,\u00a0and\u00a0everyday\u00a0social\u00a0interaction\u00a0take\u00a0place.\u00a0This\u00a0linear\u00a0movement\u00a0is\u00a0integrated\u00a0with\u00a0the\u00a0amorphous\u00a0mass\u00a0language\u00a0that\u00a0defines\u00a0the\u00a0building&#8217;s\u00a0overall\u00a0form,\u00a0aiming\u00a0for\u00a0a\u00a0more\u00a0fluid\u00a0and\u00a0inviting\u00a0spatial\u00a0experience.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The\u00a0facade\u00a0design\u00a0combines\u00a0vertical\u00a0wooden\u00a0panels\u00a0and\u00a0glass\u00a0surfaces\u00a0to\u00a0achieve\u00a0a\u00a0natural,\u00a0warm,\u00a0and\u00a0transparent\u00a0character.\u00a0While\u00a0the\u00a0wooden\u00a0panels\u00a0provide\u00a0privacy\u00a0and\u00a0rhythm,\u00a0the\u00a0glass\u00a0surfaces\u00a0strengthen\u00a0the\u00a0visual\u00a0relationship\u00a0between\u00a0the\u00a0interior\u00a0and\u00a0the\u00a0surroundings.\u00a0The\u00a0prominent\u00a0amorphous\u00a0balconies\u00a0on\u00a0the\u00a0facade\u00a0have\u00a0become\u00a0one\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0building&#8217;s\u00a0characteristic\u00a0elements,\u00a0adding\u00a0dynamism\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0mass\u00a0and\u00a0offering\u00a0users\u00a0flexible, semi-open\u00a0living\u00a0spaces.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The\u00a0project&#8217;s\u00a0strongest\u00a0aspect\u00a0is\u00a0its\u00a0integration\u00a0of a\u00a0public\u00a0axis\u00a0concept\u00a0with\u00a0residential\u00a0typology\u00a0and\u00a0its\u00a0ability\u00a0to\u00a0reflect\u00a0this\u00a0concept\u00a0consistently,\u00a0both\u00a0spatially\u00a0and\u00a0formally. *Between\u00a0Life\u00a0and\u00a0Production*\u00a0proposes\u00a0an\u00a0alternative\u00a0residential\u00a0approach\u00a0that\u00a0brings\u00a0together\u00a0life\u00a0and\u00a0production,\u00a0strengthening\u00a0social\u00a0interaction\u00a0at\u00a0the\u00a0neighborhood\u00a0scale.<\/span><span an integral\u00a0part\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0housing\u00a0program.\u00a0 \u00a0 The\u00a0project\u00a0site is\u00a0located\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0Ki\u00e7ik\u00f6y\u00a0neighborhood\u00a0of Talas\u00a0district\u00a0in Kayseri.\u00a0Its\u00a0proximity\u00a0to\u00a0Old\u00a0Talas,\u00a0its\u00a0strong\u00a0neighborhood\u00a0culture,\u00a0and\u00a0its\u00a0relationship\u00a0with\u00a0Talas Millet Park\u00a0make\u00a0the\u00a0area\u00a0a\u00a0socially\u00a0active\u00a0and\u00a0vibrant\u00a0context.\u00a0This\u00a0social\u00a0environment\u00a0has\u00a0been\u00a0the\u00a0most\u00a0important\u00a0data\u00a0shaping\u00a0the\u00a0project&#8217;s\u00a0fundamental\u00a0design\u00a0decisions.\u00a0During\u00a0the\u00a0design\u00a0process,\u00a0the\u00a0aim\u00a0was\u00a0to\u00a0develop\u00a0a\u00a0housing\u00a0model\u00a0that\u00a0supports\u00a0socialization\u00a0at\u00a0the\u00a0neighborhood\u00a0scale\u00a0and\u00a0nourishes\u00a0public\u00a0life.\u00a0 \u00a0 The\u00a0main idea of\u00a0the\u00a0project\u00a0is\u00a0to\u00a0separate\u00a0the\u00a0housing\u00a0units\u00a0from\u00a0the\u00a0art\u00a0workshops\u00a0defined\u00a0as\u00a0the\u00a0\u201cplus\u201d\u00a0function,\u00a0while\u00a0establishing\u00a0a\u00a0public\u00a0connection\u00a0between\u00a0these\u00a0two\u00a0programs.\u00a0This\u00a0connection\u00a0is\u00a0created\u00a0through\u00a0an\u00a0axis\u00a0extending\u00a0between\u00a0the\u00a0two\u00a0blocks,\u00a0which\u00a0users\u00a0can\u00a0experience\u00a0like\u00a0a\u00a0street.\u00a0This\u00a0axis\u00a0is not\u00a0merely\u00a0a\u00a0passageway; it is\u00a0conceived\u00a0as a\u00a0shared\u00a0space\u00a0where\u00a0encounters,\u00a0production,\u00a0and\u00a0everyday\u00a0social\u00a0interaction\u00a0take\u00a0place.\u00a0This\u00a0linear\u00a0movement\u00a0is\u00a0integrated\u00a0with\u00a0the\u00a0amorphous\u00a0mass\u00a0language\u00a0that\u00a0defines\u00a0the\u00a0building&#8217;s\u00a0overall\u00a0form,\u00a0aiming\u00a0for\u00a0a\u00a0more\u00a0fluid\u00a0and\u00a0inviting\u00a0spatial\u00a0experience.\u00a0 \u00a0 The\u00a0facade\u00a0design\u00a0combines\u00a0vertical\u00a0wooden\u00a0panels\u00a0and\u00a0glass\u00a0surfaces\u00a0to\u00a0achieve\u00a0a\u00a0natural,\u00a0warm,\u00a0and\u00a0transparent\u00a0character.\u00a0While\u00a0the\u00a0wooden\u00a0panels\u00a0provide\u00a0privacy\u00a0and\u00a0rhythm,\u00a0the\u00a0glass\u00a0surfaces\u00a0strengthen\u00a0the\u00a0visual\u00a0relationship\u00a0between\u00a0the\u00a0interior\u00a0and\u00a0the\u00a0surroundings.\u00a0The\u00a0prominent\u00a0amorphous\u00a0balconies\u00a0on\u00a0the\u00a0facade\u00a0have\u00a0become\u00a0one\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0building&#8217;s\u00a0characteristic\u00a0elements,\u00a0adding\u00a0dynamism\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0mass\u00a0and\u00a0offering\u00a0users\u00a0flexible,
