The project; It offers a multi-
layered structure that includes both professional and public users by bringing together

sustainability, digitalization and experience-based urban life. The basic design axis

starts from a slightly elevated podium located in the heart of fashion weeks and open-
air events. This axis directs the visitor to four main buildings representing the processes

of learning, production, collaboration and presentation: The Loop (learning), The Stitch
(production), The Weave (collaboration) and The Fold (presentation).

Each structure stands out with its spatial “feeling” as much as its unique function.

While 3D printed panels produced from recycled textile fibers are used on the organic-
shaped facades, the steel frame system inside these panels is directly integrated into

the main structure. Thus, both structural and aesthetic continuity is achieved. In the

second layer, both filtering and digital reflection surfaces are obtained with semi-
permeable GFRP mesh.

The landscape design is enriched with fluid topographies, green belts, thermochromic
surface walkways and LED open spaces that allow for night activities. Alternative
material solutions such as bioplastic panels with broken textile fiber and brick-waste
based coatings were preferred for flooring.

Re:Fabric Hub, beyond being a collection of structures; creates an interaction network
extending from production to presentation, from the city to the global. The project
proposes an urban interface that transforms the user as a sensory and physical
experience area where textile-fashion technologies and architecture come together.

Re:Fabric -Betül Yekrek Re:Fabric Hub is designed as a contemporary fashion and production center that carries the weaving past of Kahramanmaraş to the future.
