This project is designed as a print-based Educational Hub that combines Sahabiye’s existing production potential with education. The building proposes a multi-layered system that brings together production, learning, and public interaction. The center mainly serves young users between the ages of 15 and 25, providing an environment where they can develop their skills in design, production, and digital technologies.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Through a layered learning model, users experience a process that progresses from two-dimensional visual production to three-dimensional and advanced digital fabrication techniques. This process includes idea generation, digital design, physical production, review, and exhibition. Open studios, educational spaces, and digital fabrication workshops work together to enable users to transform their ideas from concept to physical production.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The center includes digital printing, screen printing, 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC, and robotic fabrication workshops. The workshop area is primarily dedicated to digital printing education and is designed as a flexible production space where users can learn printing techniques through hands-on experience.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The public spaces of the building are designed to remain active beyond school hours. The outdoor conference hall is open to the public and acts as an attraction point that guides visitors into the educational hub. The library is accessible not only to students but also to local residents as a shared learning space. While the ground floor accommodates more public functions such as the entrance, exhibition spaces, and visible production areas, the upper floors contain technical classrooms, learning studios, and a cafeteria designed for students. An open workshop located next to the Fab Lab extends the production process to the outdoor space and is directly accessible to the local community.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
