This studio focuses on developing architectural proposals that position governance, public interaction, and collective life as spatial questions rather than abstract concepts. Architecture is approached not only as a physical object, but as a civic act embedded within the urban fabric. Working in the historic core of Kayseri, students examine the city as a layered environment shaped by social, cultural, and economic relations. Through site analysis, theoretical readings, and design exploration, they investigate how architectural space can make participation visible and support hybrid forms of public life. The studio encourages critical engagement with context while developing architectural strategies that connect urban memory with contemporary civic needs, questioning how architecture can operate as a medium for collective processes rather than a finished form.
