This project is located in the historical center of Kayseri and aims to create a new learning environment for high school students. The design focuses on learning through experience rather than traditional classroom education. By being placed in a historical context, the project connects the past of the city with a contemporary educational approach.

The main goal of the project is to support both academic learning and social interaction. The building is designed as a collaborative and interactive space where students can learn together, communicate, and share ideas. Flexible learning areas replace standard classroom layouts, allowing different types of activities and group work. In this way, the project encourages active participation and improves students’ social skills as well as their educational development.

One of the most important elements of the project is the botanical classroom. This space allows students to learn about the life cycle through direct interaction with nature. Instead of learning only from books, students can observe plants, growth processes, and natural systems in a real environment. This hands-on learning experience helps students understand ecological concepts and increases their awareness of nature and sustainability.

The project includes multi-modal learning spaces that support different learning methods. These spaces can be used for scientific experiments, workshops, and creative activities. Their flexible design allows them to adapt to different functions throughout the day. As a result, the building becomes a living educational environment rather than a static structure.

In conclusion, this project offers a new approach to education by combining architecture, nature, and interaction. It creates a learning space where students can experience, explore, and engage with their surroundings. By integrating a botanical classroom and flexible learning areas into a historical urban context, the project aims to contribute both to the education of young users and to the cultural continuity of Kayseri.
